The top four leading scorers return for Burges, which will be looking for a district title. Chapin will also be in the race, with the return of Jasmin Holt and Natalie Mesa. Andress will be in the sleeper role in the district.

  4. Parkland
  5. Ysleta
  6. Clint Horizon

Hanks return leading scorer Jaelyn Morrison and will lead the offense once again. Bel Air return a key portion of their starters but will remain young in the bench.

  1. Amarillo
  2. Caprock
  3. Tascosa
  4. Plainview
  5. Palo Duro

Amarillo will remain the team to beat in the district with the rich and successful tradition. Caprock, who return four starters, have the pieces in place to set up a solid run in the postseason. The race for forth will be one to watch in the district.

  5. Abilene Cooper
  6. Abilene Wylie
  7. Abilene

Monterey will be a team to watch with returning Aaliyah Chavez and with a solid freshman class incoming. Lubbock High have key players returning that include sophomore Izzy Palmer. Abilene Cooper welcome Brandon Hudson to the helm, and has an experience lineup to sneak into the playoff race.

  7. Wichita Falls Rider

Aledo look to make noise in the district with four starters returning. Saginaw return pure scorer Camille Williams to the lineup. Brewer will look to build off their successful season and look to compete for a district title.

  8. Polytechnic

It’s anyone’s district to take from anywhere in the top four but expect a competitive district every game night.

7-5A

  3. Lake Dallas
  4. Colleyville Heritage
  5. Denton Ryan
  6. Grapevine
  7. Birdville
  8. Denton

Argyle move in a district that seems favorable to make a deep run. Lake Dallas lose their key players to graduation but will remain in the playoff hunt in the top four. Expect a competitive playoff race from second to sixth.

  2. Midlothian
  3. Mansfield Summit
  4. Midlothian Heritage
  5. Burleson Centennial
  6. Joshua
  7. Cleburne
  8. Burleson
  9. Arlington Seguin

Timberview have the successful tradition and the success to continue their winning ways but Region II power Midlothian moves in the region, looking to challenge the Lady Timberwolves to the district crown. Midlothian Heritage move up from 4A and look to make an immediate impact on the playoff race. A young Mansfield Summit team will be in the playoff hunt and will be in the sleeper role.
