Franklin return three of their top scorers, which will make the Lady Cougars the team to watch in the Sun City in 6A. Eastwood will contend for the district title with a solid amount returning.

  6. Odessa Permian

Frenship’s youth turns into experience heading into the year. Idalou transfer Gabby Morales is also a key addition to the roster that will complete the inside-out look. Central, which is led by it’s hard-nosed defense, will be in the mix for the top two spots in the district.

The Lady Pioneers return a solid amount of experience returning as they lose key playmakers. Trinity can sneak up on district opponents with the return of all-region standout Alisha Nunley. Crowley move into the district, looking to compete for a playoff spot.

  8. Keller Central

Keller look to return to district supremacy as four starters return, including Jaeden Gillam, a top-two leading scorer from last season. Southlake Carroll lose a key amount of the supporting cast but return Camryn Tade. Haltom join this district as they will play the sleeper role.

Braswell’s young players will be key to watch as they carry the experience of a deep playoff run from last season. The Lady Bengals will still have size with Yves Cox and Tori Sevier being a key part in the paint. Little Elm may have the best player in the district with Amarachi Kimpson returning, who also committed to UNLV. Allen bring in Stephanie Shaw from Rock Hill as they look to improve off of last year’s finish.

The Cowgirls return the top player on the roster, including Jules LaMendola, who committed to Indiana over the summer. Hebron return the core of their roster as they look to compete for a top seed in the district.

Highland Park are back in 6A and looking to make noise in the district with three seniors graduating from last year. Lake Highlands look to make noise with a solid amount returning.

  5. Arlington Sam Houston
  6. Arlington Lamar
  7. Arlington

 The Lady Warriors will be the team to beat in the region with the return of Adhel Tac, who will be a scoring and rebound threat in the interior. Both Bowie and Martin will have more experienced guards that will look to battle for the second place seed in the district. Grand Prairie will be a key sleeper as they have improved in recent seasons.
